Gastric ulcers in horses: discover the study on Trophogast Pellet conducted in collaboration with the University of Milan
Every rider knows that stress can significantly affect their horse's athletic performance, but sometimes they underestimate its manifestations. Nervousness and agitation, for example, are always attributed to the animal's temperament, and no one ever thinks that the origin of the problem could be gastric and manifest itself in behavioural changes.
In this regard, Equiplanet is proud to present a study conducted in collaboration with the University of Milan, where Trophogast Pellet was tested on endurance horses with a moderate degree of ESGD (Equine Squamous Gastric Disease – gastric ulcer in horses affecting the squamous mucosa).
